LA Noire developer Team Bondi was essentially dead, having already had its assets and staff siphoned off to KMM, but now the end is officially nearing. According to a report on Gamasutra, the Australian dev studio is to be closed by liquidators.

Documents fired at the Australian Securities and Investments Commission reveal the studio’s fate. A Special Resolution to Wind Up Company document has also been filed.

Team Bondi appeared to be on a high after the critical and commercial success of LA Noire, but reports of poor work conditions blighted that success. Rockstar has retained the LA Noire IP.

LA Noire deserved its success, earning a stupendous 10/10 in our LA Noire review earlier in the year. The game arrives for PC and OnLive, complete with all DLC on November 11.
