It would seem publisher Take-Two has plans to continue the LA Noire IP, confirming overnight that it has become an important franchise for the company.
During an investor call, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick revealed that the game is the publisher’s “most successful new release” during the past fiscal year.
He commented: “This groundbreaking title from Rockstar has set a new standard for video games with cinematic art and has become an important franchise for the company.”
Back in August Take-Two revealed it had shipped over four million units of the game, although actual sell-through isn’t known. Despite distancing itself from the closed Team Bondi, the publisher continues to push the title with a DLC-packed PC and console release.
