Team Bondi could be acquired by KMM if a report on Kotaku is accurate. The studio, which Kotaku states is currently headed by Cory Barlog (famous for his work on God of War and its sequel), would absorb Brendan McNamara’s team, allowing them to hide from the controversy surrounding the work conditions at Team Bondi.
Kotaku states that one source working at KMM owner George Miller’s Dr. D animation studio saw McNamara walking through the offices. Miller’s animation studio is currently working in finishing the Happy Feet 2 film, while the KMM team is working on a tie-in game.
“Because Dr. D is filled with former Team Bondi employees who left due to the abusive work conditions,” the source continued, “this unexpected visit was quite… unsettling – to put it mildly.”
Despite the bad press Team Bondi has received, one member of the team hit back over the sweat shop claims.
