LA Noire is coming to the PC this autumn, Rockstar has announced. The PC version of LA Noire is being developed by Rockstar Leeds, the studio in charge of Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars (officially a proud recipient of the coveted VideoGamer.com 10/10) and Beaterator for the PSP.
Alongside the usual array of swanky visual upgrades you see on PC versions, LA Noire will also include 3D support – though the exact specifics have not yet been announced.
The press release also states the game “will run on a wide range of PCs”. Said press release also adds that the game will include “keyboard remapping and gamepad functionality to both optimise and customise the performance and user experience.”
LA Noire went down a storm at VideoGamer.com: “There’s something entrancing about the way this game plunges you into the violence, the corruption, and the sadness of post-war Los Angeles,” we said in our spoiler-free LA Noire review, seconds before bestowing the game full marks.
Earlier this week a group of former Team Bondi staff, unacknowledged in LA Noire’s credits, set up a website to showcase their contribution to the game. “Every single developer who had contributed their talent, sweat and tears should be recognised for this,” said the site.
