According to EGM, reported by 1UP, the PlayStation 3 version of Namco Bandai’s SoulCalibur IV is to feature God of War’s Kratos as a playable character. The game’s hitting stores soon so we expect to have the rumour confirmed either way in near future.
Kratos’ inclusion would mean PS3 gamers will have two exclusive characters to select – Star Wars’ Darth Vader is the second. Both versions of the game will also feature The Force Unleashed’s Secret Apprentice as a playable character.
The Xbox 360 game’s only confirmed exclusive character is Yoda, but given the PS3 is rumoured to feature two there’s every chance a second will be revealed for the Xbox 360. A Spartan has already made an appearance in Tecmo’s Dead or Alive 4, so how about having the Arbiter as a playable character in SCIV?
SoulCalibur IV is scheduled for release across Europe on August 1.
