PES 2019 developer Konami has announced a new partnership with AS Monaco for the upcoming footie title.

Part of the agreement will see the video game giant produce a dedicated cover showcasing a number of top stars from the club, as well as playing a 'key part' in future Ambassador activations.

Founded in 1924, AS Monaco is based at Stade Louis II in Fontvielle and ranks as one of France's most successful football clubs to date, notching up eight league titles, six domestic cups, and regularly participating in competitions across Europe.

PES 2019 will boast faithful recreations of the club's stars and the Stadium Louis II, which will be made up for grabs as a digital download following the game's launch in late August. Furthermore, each player will be meticulously represented in PES 2019, with playing styles and stats taken into account, while all kits will be 'faithfully integrated into the game.'

In addition, the French version of PES 2019 will include a unique cover depicting Phillipe Coutinho and AS Monaco Captain Radamel Falcao.

'This is a wide-ranging agreement with AS Monaco, which will see this illustrious club working closely with KONAMI across a number of avenues,' said Senior Director Brand & Business Development at Konami Digital Entertainment B.V., Jonas Lygaard.

'In addition to working closely with the club to ensure they are perfectly recreated within the game, we are delighted that a player of Radamel Falcao’s calibre has agreed to become our local Ambassador. We look forward to a long and productive partnership that will show the scale and ambition KONAMI has for the PES series.'

'The growth of eSports and the reputation of the PES series make this partnership with Konami very exciting,' added AS Monaco Commercial and Marketing Director, Juli Ferre. 'We look forward to seeing AS Monaco players recreated within the new game, and our Captain Radamel Falcao featured on PES 2019 cover.'

PES 2019 is due out for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on August 30.
