Konami has announced plans to release several titles on Nintendo’s WiiWare service in North America, beginning with the puzzle game Critter Round-Up.

The game is developed by California-based Epicenter Studios and is a puzzle title with support for up to four players. The basic idea is to build fences to separate different critter species into their own area, while avoiding predators and other mischievous animals.

Critter Round-Up will feature five environments and 50 levels, with game modes including co-op adventure and special co-op challenges for up to four players. There’s also a collection of Critter mini-games such as Snowball Soccer and Predator Rampage.

Following the release of Critter Round-Up Konami intends to release several other tiles on WiiWare. These include Crescendo, a musical experience fused with classic arcade action, and Fresco Beach, a game where players create their own sandcastles and must keep the structure of the castle intact amidst the dangers of the beach.

No release dates for any of the titles have has been confirmed and there’s currently no word on European releases.
