Konami's special E3 announcement was the unveiling of the TurboGrafx-16 mini, in similar fashion to the PlayStation Mini and SNES Classic Mini.

The mini console comes in three variants: the TurboGrafx-16 mini for the US, the PC Engine mini for Japan, and the PC Engine CoreGrafx mini for Europe.

The games announced for the console so far are R-Type, New Adventure Island, Ninja Spirit, Ys Book 1 & 2, Dungeon Explorer, and Alien Crush.

The console will arrive with some little extras, including multiple display modes, a system-level quick save feature, and support for four controllers – although you will have to but a plug-in adapter, because the console only has two controller ports as standard.

The TurboGrafx-16 Mini is apparently 'coming soon,' with no specific release date set.
