Nintendo has sewed a March 8 release date to cutsey 3DS platformer Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn.
The bouncy fella's latest outing is a remastered version of Kirby's Epic Yarn, which was originally released on the Wii. Developed by Good-Feel (the same studio making Yoshi's Crafted World) and HAL Laboratory, Epic Yarn weaves a gorgeous craft-based visual style and sees Kirby turned literally into yarn as he explores Patch Land.
The 3DS version expands on the original release by giving Kirby some additional abilities and minigames to hoover up.
Kirby's Epic Yarn was originally released in 2010, and at the time was a pretty significant release for the series, which hadn't seen a home console entry since 2003's Kirby Air Ride on GameCube.
