Kinect technology and the software that powers it is improving each day, Q Entertainment head and Child of Eden designer Tetsuya Mizuguchi has told CVG.
“Every day the technology and software improves, so we’re constantly tuning it,” he said. “Nothing is optimal at the beginning of a new technology, but it’s been getting better and better the more we work with it.”
Mizuguchi also admitted he loves to work with new technology.
“I really love working with new technology and seeing what sort of experience we can create around it,” he said. “The [Kinect] technology happened to be the first one we got our hands on, so we wanted to see how it could work with Child of Eden.”
Child of Eden has been confirmed to support Kinect and standard controllers, but so far we’ve heard nothing on PlayStation Move functionality.
