Kinect Sports Rivals has been delayed and will no longer launch alongside the Xbox One in November, Microsoft has confirmed to Polygon.
The game will now launch in spring 2014.
A Microsoft rep said the delay is to give Rare extra time to apply polish, ensuring the game’s quality isn’t compromised.
Kinect Sports Rivals will feature Climbing, Wake Racing, Soccer, Target Shooting, Bowling, Tennis.
Those attending Gamescom next month can look forward to getting hands-on time with the game.
The delay is another blow for Microsoft which is has been under constant fire since its Xbox One failure at E3. Whilst Kinect Sports isn’t a hardcore franchise, it has shifted over six million units and certainly has a fanbase.
