343 Industries has confirmed that the Kinect features coming to Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary will be optional.
After it was reported that the upcoming HD remake would feature Kinect support, core Halo fans have been slightly concerned about how this might affect their beloved game.
A community manager from 343 popped onto the Halo Waypoint forums to clarify the matter.
“Just to let everybody know, the Kinect features we’re exploring with Halo: Anniversary are optional and won’t affect your core gameplay experience,” read the post.
“Our mission, from day one, has been to deliver a faithful recreation of the original game, and we remain dedicated to seeing that through to completion.”
