Killzone: Shadow Fall Intercept, a new four-player cooperative DLC mode, will launch on June 25, Sony Computer Entertainment and Guerrilla Games have announced.

Intercept sees you and up to three team mates fighting off wave after wave of AI-controlled Helghast attackers as you try to establish a communications Uplink to the VSA headquarters.

Players will take on the role of Assault, Marksman, Medic or Tactician, and must use the class its fullest in order to remain alive.

Intercept will be offered free to Shadow Fall Season Pass owners, and a paid download for owners of the core game. In addition, the content will be released as a standalone game later this year.
