Speaking to VideoGamer.com today, a Sony Computer Entertainment Europe spokesperson has put an end to speculation that a new Killzone title, based on the previously released PSP game, is to be released on PSN.
“It’s an April fools joke,” said the spokesperson, confirming what we already thought. It’s a shame though, as a PSN Killzone game in the style as the isometric PSP title Killzone: Liberation sounded like good fun.
Still, if the recently confirmed September release date for Killzone 2 is met we won’t have long to wait for the game’s first appearance on the PlayStation 3.
