Killzone 3’s multiplayer modes will be made available as a standalone free download on PSN next week, Sony confirmed on the latest PlayStation Blogcast.

The free download will feature the complete Killzone 3 multiplayer experience, limited to an unspecified level cap. This cap can be removed by paying $15.

No element of the single-player game will be present.

The US PlayStation Store updates on a Tuesday – we expect a Euro release to follow.
