Guerrilla Games has revealed the From the Ashes DLC Map Pack for Killzone 3, confirming to the EU PlayStation Blog that it will include two Guerrilla Warfare maps and two Warzone maps.
Detailed on the EU PlayStation Blog are the Lente Missile Base Warzone map and the Mobile Factory Guerrilla Warfare map. The remaining two maps will be detailed soon.
Lente Missile Base
This 24-player Warzone map is set inside an abandoned missile base at the edge of the Kaznan Jungle. Lente Base is being reclaimed by Helghan’s plant life due to an extended period of inactivity. The discovery that most the base’s operational systems are still active leads to a fight for control and the base begins firing its missiles.
Mobile Factory
16 players can take part in this Guerrilla Warfare map set aboard one of the largest vehicles from the single-player campaign. The Mobile factory is part resource production facility and part moving fortress. A single misstep will see players fall to their death at the hands of scrap metal shredders, while two portable mini-guns can be found and used.
From the Ashes for Killzone 3 will be released on the PlayStation Store on June 22 priced £3.99. A collection of all the available DLC (Retro Pack, Steel Rain and From the Ashes) will go on sale on June 22 at the budget price of only £7.99.
