Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has confirmed to VideoGamer.com today that a demo for PS3 exclusive Killzone 2 will arrive on the PlayStation Store in Europe, although the exact date is still to be determined. According to a spokesperson the demo will be released in the “normal manner”, presumably removing the possibility of a similar pre-order scheme to that running in the US.
US gamers will be given early access to a Killzone 2 demo by pre-ordering the exclusive PS3 FPS at retailer GameStop – download codes will begin being sent out on February 3. A demo for all those who didn’t pre-order at GameStop will be released after the game is released through the PlayStation Store.
We thought Killzone 2 was shaping up rather well when we played it late in 2008. Expect a full review ahead of the game’s February release.
