Speaking at Nintendo’s third party developer roundtable, Yves Guillemot annoucned Killer Freaks From Outer Space; a new first person shooter for Wii U.

A trailer shown at the event revealed the game to be set in London. After an alien invasion arrives on Earth, you – one of the last remaning survivors of the attack – are tasked with protecting the remnants of the human race by shooting a vicious race of aliens.

Jean Philippe Caro, creative director at Ubisoft boasted that the game will offer “more precision through controls.”

The game takes advantage of the Wii U gyrometer, and has players moving the controller in the real world to move the camera.

Killer Freaks From Outer Space is one of five Ubisoft games currently in development for Wii U. It joins Ghost Recon Online, Raving Rabbids, Assassin’s Creed and a yet-to-be-revealed sports title.
