Space construction sandbox simulation Kerbal Space Program is getting a brand new Enhanced Edition for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 courtesy of Take Two’s new indie publishing label Private Division, it was announced today.

There are very few details so far, other than it’ll include a ‘completely reworked user interface and new controls, but the announcement also notes that it’ll be out in January, so we can’t imagine it’ll be too long before we know more.

You may remember that we reported KSP was bought up by Take Two back in May, and it seems it was the first step for the owners of Grand Theft Auto and Bioshock in their brand new Private Division publishing label which was also announced today. As well as KSP, RPG developer Obsidian is on board with the new label as is studio The Outsiders headed up by the lead designer of Battlefield 3 and former Game Director on Payday 2 David Goldfarb. We’ve embedded the announcement video for that below.
