Bandai Namco Games is sprucing up its oddball classic Katamari Damacy for Nintendo Switch and PC.

Due out on December 7, Katamari Damacy Reroll includes a number of enhancements as you'd expect, including improved graphics and cutscenes. The Switch version of the cult roll-'em-up also features support for HD Rumble and motion controls, with the Joy-Con used to control your character in tabletop/TV mode.

Katamari Damacy was originally released on the PlayStation 2 way back in 2004, and is the brainchild of Keita Takahashi. Built on a budget of less than $1 million, the game follows a pint-sized Prince as he embarks on a quest to rebuild the stars and moon, which he does by rolling around a massive, adhesive katamari ball.

While it sound a bit daft, Katamari Damacy is actually a massively fun game to play, and attracted plenty of fans at the time of its release.

The last entry in the series came in the shape of 2016's iOS and Android title, Tap My Katamari.
