Capcom’s Ben Judd has given us a one word tease for the Japanese company’s planned “ace up its sleeve” Tokyo Game Show announcement in October: “Bonus”.

Speaking to VideoGamer.com, Judd, who is the producer on the upcoming 3D Xbox 360, PS3 and PC Bionic Commando as well as the already released downloadable Xbox LIVE, PSN and PC remix of the original NES classic, said that once the announcement is made gamers will go: “‘oooooh'”.

Last month Judd told Kotaku: “We still have a f***ing ace up our sleeve. It’s an ace, a f***ing ace… At TGS (Tokyo Game Show), the Capcom booth stage is going to make people’s balls pucker up. It’s going to be big.”

When we caught up with Judd at Leipzig Games Convention last month, we thought we’d quiz him on this planned announcement. Here’s what was said:

VideoGamer.com: Can you give any clue, like a one word clue, just to keep us playing along?

BJ: Bonus.

VideoGamer.com: Bonus, that’s a good word.

BJ: That’s obtuse but also informative. After the fact you’ll go ‘oooooh’.

To be honest, Judd’s ‘Bonus’ tease has us completely flummoxed. It sounds too ‘megaton’ to simply be referring to a bonus stage or mode in Bionic Commando. Have you got any idea what Capcom’s mega-announcement might be readers? Let us know in the comments section below.
