Jesse Metcalfe, Meghan Ory, Virginia Madsen and Dennis Haysbert have been announced as the stars of Dead Rising: Watchtower, a feature-length film from Legendary Digital Media based on the multi-million selling Dead Rising franchise.
Shooting began earlier this week in Vancouver, with Leprechaun: Origins director Zach Lipovsky in charge.
The film will debut on Sony’s Crackle service in the US, before launching on other platforms and formats. Content Media Corp is handling distribution – including an episodic release – for all international territories.
Capcom’s Dead Rising has sold over seven million units.
