Rogue Galaxy from Level 5 (the developer behind Dragon Quest VIII) has gone straight in at the top of the Japanese software chart, shifting 238,000 copies. Mario Kart DS enters the chart at No.2, with 219,000 units sold, and Sega’s Ryu Ga Gotoku for the PS2, charts at No.3.
Animal Crossing: Wild World continues to sell well and has now sold 577,000 since its release. Biohazard 4 for the PlayStation 2 continues to show the GameCube version who’s boss with total sales (307,000) now dwarfing the poor selling GameCube original.
As expected, poor sales of the Xbox 360 has meant that none of the six launch titles managed a place in the top 10.
