It appears that Wet 2 has been quietly cancelled, if the LinkedIn page of coder Ian Cormier is anything to go by.
As reported by Siliconera, the former technical artist at A2M had an entry on his LinkedIn profile that listed Wet 2 as a cancelled project.
You can still view Cormier’s page here, but unsurprisingly the Wet 2 reference appears to have been removed. Cormier himself now works for EA Montreal, while A2M changed its name to Behaviour Interactive late last year.
Wet 2 still appears on the profile for a programmer still based at Behaviour, but there’s no mention of the current status of the project. [Update: Wet 2 has been removed from the aforementioned CV and the programmer has asked us to remove his name from the story]
Behaviour CEO Rémi Racine revealed Wet 2 in an interview with Joystiq last November.
Our Wet review gave the Tarantino-inspired shooter a score of six, describing it as “a classic case of style over substance”.
