Remedy, developer of Alan Wake, is believed to have begun teasing a new game in the Alan Wake franchise.

Taking to Twitter, Remedy creative director Sam Lake appeared to hint that the series’ darkness is set to wreak havoc on another unsuspecting town.

“It’s all true. ‘It will happen again, in another town, a town called Ordinary.’ It’s happening now”, Lake Tweeted.

The Remedy man also linked to a blog, written by Samantha, which includes documents produced by a driver (assumed to be Alan Wake author/driver character Thomas Zane).

One reference on the blog seems to describe Alan Wake.

“…he was a man, and he wasn’t old, he was a young man with a dark hair – very good looking in fact. I remember that he was wearing a funny jacket with old-fashioned elbow patches.”

Remedy has also recently updated its AlanWake2.com domain.

Alan Wake launched exclusively on Xbox 360, but has since appeared on PC. Will a sequel retain its Xbox exclusivity? If so the game may make an appearance during Microsoft’s E3 press conference this evening.
