High On Life, the much anticipated game from Rick and Morty creator Justin Roiland, is finally here – bringing with it a ton of zany weapons and concepts. But, is High On Life available on PS5 and PS4?
For those looking to give the game a try, this first-person shooter – developed by Squanch Games – puts you in the shoes of a bounty hunter, who is tasked with saving the world from a malicious alien race called the G3 cartel.

While this doesn’t sound all too inventive, plot wise, where High On Life ramps up the creativity is in the weapons you’re able to use – which come in the form of sentient aliens called Gatlians.
Is High On Life on PS5 and PS4?
No. High On Life is not available on the PS5 or the PS4. Currently, High On Life is exclusively on the Xbox One X / S and Windows PC (It is also Steam Deck compatible). This is because Squanch Games partnered with Xbox.
For those who don’t fancy shelling out the price of a full game, High On Life is also on Game Pass. Speaking to True Achievements, Squanch Games community lead Jordyn Halpern, said: “Having Xbox be our partner throughout this process has been an amazing experience, and that absolutely includes our ability to host High On Life day one on Game Pass.
“We want as many people as possible to enjoy our game, and Game Pass as a platform will undoubtedly allow us to expand our audience.”
Squanch Games have not yet confirmed anything about if the game is coming to other consoles, but should enough people play it, there could be a chance that it is ported over at some point. While High On Life is not free, there is currently a tempting offer on Game Pass Ultimate, which gives you a month for £1.

Yes. Currently High on High On Life is exclusively on the Xbox One X / S and Windows PC. It is also on Game Pass.

No. High On Life is not PS4 and there has been nothing confirmed about it arriving to the platform.
Is High On Life Coming to PlayStation?
High On Life isn’t currently planned to come to PS4 and PS5. However, game’s success may prompt Squanch Games to release the game on other platforms, including PlayStation consoles and possibly Steam, once the exclusivity deal with Xbox expires.
