Fable 3 was announced as an Xbox 360 exclusive, but for the first time since the franchise’s first outing, PC gamers could be returning to the world of Albion.

A Lionhead job add, quickly edited but spotted by Blue’s News, got the ball rolling by stating the position “involves converting and maintaining the network code of the Xbox 360 version of this game to the PC, and enabling the Xbox 360 version and the PC version to play together”.

Now Molyneux has got in on the game, hinting to GameSpot that another platform announcement could be made.

“There are some things we haven’t seen,” Molyneux said. “We still haven’t talked to the world about Natal. We still haven’t talked to the world about co-op and what we’re doing with co-op.

“We still haven’t really talked about, ‘Are there any other platforms for Fable that we should be talking about now?'”

PC gamers will be hoping Lionhead and Molyneux start talking about the PC.
