Inon Zur is a renowned composer whose previous work includes Hollywood film trailers, network television productions, CGI movies, video games and symphony converts. His most recent work includes the music for CBS’ Ghost Whisperer: The Other Side webisode series.
Zur was commissioned by Crytek to produce a modern cinematic score to heighten the impact of the storyline. The score was recorded with the acclaimed Northwest Sinfonia Orchestra in Seattle and features otherworldly musical soundscapes to invoke the alien influences in the game.
“Inon’s ability to describe a complex situation through music is uncanny,” said Crytek Audio Director Joseph Zajonc. “ Inon’s sense of orchestration and the sound palette he has developed for this title are integral to the feel and identity of Crysis.“
Crysis is scheduled for release on November 16.
