Atari has announced it has licensed its Test Drive franchise to Infogrames, in a deal which will see the company receive an advanced royalty of $5 million.
Test Drive Unlimited, together with the entire Test Drive franchise, has been licensed to Infogrames under a six-year agreement, allowing Infogrames to develop and market at least two new releases of the franchise.
Infogrames’ Eden Studios developed Test Drive Unlimited for Atari, with the game achieving much praise for its open world gameplay and unique online integration.
