Infinity Ward community manager Robert Bowling has revealed that voice over work for Modern Warfare 2 has already been recorded.
“Reviewing some radio-chatter VO we just finished recording for Modern Warfare 2 today. ‘Cujo Two-One this is Vulture, solid copy on all,'” said Bowling on his blog.
While the highly anticipated sequel is yet to be announced by Activision, confirmation that voice over work has been recorded as good as guarantees it’s coming.
Late last year reports emerged from an upfront – an event where publishers showcase their line-up to advertisers – indicating a Modern Warfare sequel will be released this autumn. A November 2009 release date wouldn’t be a great surprise.
