MTV Multiplayer has learned that the upcoming LEGO Indiana Jones video game will sport motion-controlled whip attacks in the Wii version. Sadly, as was the case with the recent LEGO Star Wars on Wii, these attacks will be triggered by a gesture and won’t be replicas of the user’s motion.
Much like LEGO Star Wars, LEGO Indy will feature a hub in the form of Barnett College, from which 18 levels can be accessed – six for each of the first three movies. The game won’t touch on the new instalment in the movie franchise.
The two-player co-op action found in LEGO Star Wars has been expanded to enable up to four players, although all the game’s puzzles have been designed to be tackled by two-players. This means players won’t need to play in parties of four but the option is there if desired.
The game is scheduled for release on Xbox 360, PS3, PC, Wii, PS2, PSP and Nintendo DS on June 3 in North America so June 6 looks likely for the UK.
