An “improved” version of Deadfall Adventures is coming to PS3 this summer, The Farm 51 has announced, complete with a new location, boss fights and “fully upgraded” graphics and gameplay.

Available exclusively via PSN, Deadfall Adventures: Heart of Atlantis promises to revamp the underwhelming 360/PC original with a variety of improvements, including a brand new exclusive co-op DLC mode.

“Deadfall Adventures’ was one our most ambitious project to date and although it was well-received by players, we wanted to ensure that the PS3 version took the franchise to a higher level,” said producer Artur Falkowski. “We’re all fans of the adventure genre and we wanted Deadfall Adventures: Heart of Atlantis to be the kind of a game that we would play as fans, so in many ways it is a completely new game, not just new version. With exclusive content and new modes, we are pleased to introduce a great adventure game to PS3 owners this summer.”

The PS3 port promises to include:

  • Fully upgraded gameplay and graphics
  • New location and secrets to explore
  • Exclusive Survival/Co-op DLC mode with two additional maps for PS3™ owners
  • New boss fights
  • New cut-scenes and improved visuals of original ones
  • Improved leveling system
  • Completely new notepad system
  • New flashlight burst attack
  • And much more!

A price for the game has yet to be announced.
