Sold Out has announced a new game called Immortal: Unchained. Immortal: Unchained is a Souls-inspired third-person shooter and hardcore action RPG that’ll be coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC in 2018.

Immortal: Unchained will take place in a futuristic world that’s on the brink of a cataclysmic event, and the protagonist, a living weapon, has been released by an entity known only as the warden to bring a halt to this world ending threat. The protagonist has no memory of who they are or what they can do and the player must guide them towards finding the information necessary to succeed.

The game comes from the writers of Battlefield 1, Killzone Shadow Fall and The Witcher, and it will feature a range of unique weaponry for ranged and melee combat to aid the player in defeating enemies and gigantic bosses. Each encounter will require the use of tactics to slow down, disarm and defeat foes.

Immortal: Unchained will be released on the PS4, Xbox One and PC in the first half of 2018
