Southend Interactive, the developer behind 2010's top puzzle game ilomilo, is developing a new game for Dead Island publisher Deep Silver, it's been announced.

The game is headed to multiple platforms, although further details on the game are still to be revealed.

An official reveal is due "soon", Deep Silver says.

"It's exciting for us to partner with Deep Silver as we have a strong common vision for the games that we want to do. Deep Silver's strong lineup of fun brands made the choice easy," said Fredrik Erlandsson, CEO of Southend.

Deep Silver published last year's chart-topping open-world zombie game Dead Island and April's RPG sequel Risen 2: Dark Waters.
