Rage has been pushed back yet again, switching from its September 16 date to early October. The game’s official website lists an October 4 release date for North America and October 7 in Europe.
The latest delay comes after an already lengthy development cycle, spanning over seven years.
No reason for the delay has been given by developer id or publisher Bethesda.
A tactical date change – considering that Epic’s triple-A, Gears of War 3, would have been dropping only days later on September 20 – is a distinct possibility.
