Beamdog’s Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition will launch October 30, only two months after the game was officially announced.
The release date was announced via Beamdog boss and co-founder Trent Oster.
“Oh we also announced a launch date for #IWDEE of Oct 30. That’s right, just 10 more days to go. #10DaysofAlveus” he Tweeted.
Oster added that the game will be available on Beamdog’s own platform, Steam and GOG. Those looking for the mobile versions shouldn’t have to wait long, with Oster stating they “should be very close as well”.
Enhanced Edition features an improved interface, a new easier difficulty setting, six quests expanded with content cut from the original release, new items and spells, plus cross-platform multiplayer.
