Humanity is an action game from developer Tha Ltd. and publisher Enhance, and it’s coming to PlayStation 4 and PSVR in 2020.

The new trailer kicked off Sony’s State of Play, and depicted hordes of people moving together and clashing against each other across different levels. Big blocks will push people off the edge, and launch pads will propel them into the air. One level is a sword fighting party, and another has the crowds snaking through a maze. I have no idea what it’s about. But it’s very hypnotic.

‘From the first early demo I saw, I couldn’t get Humanity out of my head,’ Enhance
founder and CEO Tetsuya Mizuguchi said in a press release. ‘The whole look and feel of it — manipulating these teeming masses of people — was mesmerizing, especially in VR. I knew right away it could be something special, which is why I couldn’t be more excited to help a visionary like Yugo-san [Yugo Nakamura, founder of Tha Ltd.] realise its full potential.’

Humanity will hit PlayStation 4 and PSVR some time in 2020. Watch the new trailer below.
