Dark Energy Digital has set up a new way for players of its water-based XBLA game Hydrophobia to give feedback on their experience with the title.

“Your feedback helped shape the changes [made for Hydrophobia Pure] and we want to continue to listen, which is why we have created the Hydrophobia Listening Post – a new way for you to tell us what you want to see in the Hydrophobia universe,” explained the studio.

“At the Hydrophobia Listening Post you can rate every feature of Hydrophobia Pure, add specific suggestions and comments and even suggest aspects of the game you would like to see rated by the community.”

The results of these polls will directly influence future developments in the Hydrophobia universe.

Hydrophobia Pure launched on December 21 as a free title update and coincided with a price drop to 800 MS Points. If you fancy leaving some feedback you can do so here.

Gaining feedback on games is hugely important in the development process, but we’d hope this is carried out multiple times pre-release rather than after gamers have already made a purchase.

For small development studios we understand that this can be a time consuming and expensive task, which could explain Dark Energy Digital’s post release request for feedback.
