Troubled publisher THQ has partnered with Humble Bundle to let players pay what they want for a selection of its recent releases.

Darksiders, Metro 2033, Red Faction: Armageddon, Company of Heroes and its two expansion packs Opposing Fronts and Tales of Valour are all included in the digital bundle, which you can grab for as little as $1.

If you pay over the average (which at the time of publishing was $5.72/£3.56), you’ll also receive a digital copy of last year’s mental open-worlder Saints Row: The Third.

Oh, and to sweeten the deal, you’ll be given MP3 soundtracks of Saints Row: The Third, Darksiders, Red Faction: Armageddon and Company of Heroes, too.

Every game in the bundle can also be registered on Steam.

If you choose to buy the bundle, you’ll get to decide who receives your money. Contributions can be split between THQ, American Red Cross, Child’s Play and Humble Bundle Inc.

THQ president Jason Rubin is the bundle’s biggest contributor so far, donating $1,050, followed up by Turtle Rock Studios, who has contributed $1,024.

Turtle Rock, of course, is currently developing an unannounced title for THQ.

Almost $2m had been raised through the Humble THQ Bundle at the time of publishing.

THQ faces financial strife after announcing that it had $16.4m outstanding on its facility. Following the resignation of its chief financial officer last week, the company entered into a credit agreement extending the deadline to repay its debts until January 15, 2013.
