Hitman is getting a free Christmas-themed DLC mission next week, IO Interactive has announced.

Available from next Tuesday, December 13, the free ‘Holiday Hoarders’ mission takes players back to Paris, which has been decorated with Christmas trees, snow and presents for the festive season, as Agent 47 tracks down two burglars attempting to steal the gifts.

Naturally, you’ll get to dress up as Santa Claus.

The DLC mission will be available to all Hitman players for free, although IO is asking fans to consider donating whatever they can in support of the World Cancer Research Fund.

“Cancer is something which affects everyone in one way or another at some point in their lives and we at IOI wanted to do something to help raise money for Cancer research,” said Io-Interactive studio head Hannes Seifert.

“We’re supporting World Cancer Research Fund by giving away some fun free Holiday content to all HITMAN players and we ask you in return if you want to donate to a great cause, to give what you can via WCRF-UK.ORG/HITMAN.”

Hitman’s complete first season releases on disc in January.
