Mobile turn-based spin-off Hitman GO will launch worldwide on iOS next Thursday, April 17, Square Enix Montreal has announced.

An Android release will follow shortly after.

The £2.99 game includes 68 levels (including some inspired by previous Hitman titles) and is described as a “diorama-style, turn-based strategy game” that sees players navigating grid-based levels to eliminate their targets.

If you’re heading out to PAX East you’ll also be able to give it a go on the show floor.

Whatever you do, though, don’t go getting Hitman GO confused with IO Interactive’s next-gen Hitman, which is expected to return the series to its non-linear sandbox roots. More information on that project is due later this year.
