Agent 47 is heading to Colorado for his penultimate mission, IO Interactive has announced.
Due for release on September 27, Hitman: Episode 5 sees players taking down four targets on a Colorado farm, and features brand new weapons, items and gear for Agent 47 to put to good use.
The mission itself is called ‘Freedom Fighters’, which – haha – is also the name of a cult IO classic fans have been asking for a sequel to for years.
“This is one of the toughest episodes yet,” says studio head Hannes Seifert. “Not only do you have four targets, but from the moment you set foot in Colorado you’re on enemy ground. ‘Freedom Fighters’ is a key episode, which will add serious momentum to the story and set up an intriguing season finale for players.”
Hitman’s final episode, set in Japan, is due to release later this year, with a disc release featuring all Season One content scheduled to launch on January 31, 2017.
