This morning saw the release of Hexic 2 on Xbox LIVE Arcade. The sequel to the pack-in title with the Xbox 360 hard drive offers the same straightforward but addictive gameplay and adds all-new multiplayer elements.

The goal is to create groups of three or more matching colour hexes by spinning trios of hexes. Hexic 2 includes new special pieces, different formations and new modes which should provide even veteran players with a new challenge.

Also new is multiplayer competition, in which two players can battle on the same console or over Xbox LIVE.

All this together with the usual quota of Achievements and Gamerscore Points can be yours for 800 Microsoft Points.
