HES is “currently not working” on a next-gen version of Don Bradman Cricket 14, despite suggestions to the contrary by developer Big Ant Studios last week.

Last Tuesday, Big Ant said that it was “developing [Cricket 14] for Playstation4 and Xbox One”, with the next-gen versions “likely to be available mid-next year”.

But in a statement provided to VideoGamer.com this morning, a spokesperson for the publisher said, “HES is currently not working on a next-gen product, but it doesn’t mean we are not interested or we won’t in the near future, so keep your ears open for new announcements”.

HES was confirmed as the publisher of Don Bradman Cricket 14 earlier today, where it revealed all new details on the upcoming cricket title.

The game launches on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC later this year.
