Full details of the beta will be posted on the Might and Magic portal at some point later today. After the death of her husband to demon hordes, Queen Isabel vowed to avenge his death and entered into an alliance with the Undead in order to revive her beloved. This decision has put her Kingdom in terrible danger.
When you begin the game you will create your own hero character specialising in either Might or Magic. From a town in which you start your journey you must then form an army of troops and venture out to explore the map, capture resources and items, and conquer enemy towns and armies.
Each Hero is linked to a different town type, and each town can produce different types of monsters and soldiers who can be recruited to form your army.
Heroes of Might and Magic V is currently scheduled for release for the PC on March 31, 2006.
