Gearbox Software president Randy Pitchford has confirmed to Shacknews that Brothers in Arms: Hell’s Highway will miss its previously planned August release date. The Xbox 360, PS3 and PC FPS will now debut in September.

“We’ll be gold in August, but it looks like the actual shelf date will be in September,” said Pitchford.

He added: “… late September is the anniversary of Operation Market Garden, so I think it would be really poetic if the game launched on the anniversary.”

Update: Ubisoft has issued an updated release schedule and confirmed that Brothers in Arms: Hell’s Highway is now scheduled for release across Europe on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on September 26.
