Clive Barker’s Hellraiser Revival is instantly one of the most anticipated horror games coming out next year. Developer Saber Interactive has just released its red band gameplay trailer, and we definitely can’t embed it here as it’s full of extremely heavy gore, torture, and BDSM orgies.
It’s a survival horror game entirely in first-person. There is combat as well as stealth, and all of it looks bloody wicked. You will play as Aidan, a brave son of a gun who is attempting to use the power of the Genesis Configuration to free his girlfriend, Sunny, from the hellscape of the Labyrinth.
The game is officially canon, and you will take on the infernal priests as well as all of hell’s wretches, deviants, and cultists. Of course, the iconic Pinhead will be front and centre of all the blood, guts, and deviancy.
Next year is set to be amazing for fans of horror. Resident Evil Requiem is coming out on February 27th, and there are persistent rumors of Silent Hill Townfall releasing in early 2026. We also have Reanimal to look forward to from the original developers of Little Nightmares 1 and 2, and there’s a Paranormal Activity game from the developers of the brilliant Mortuary Assistant.
We’re looking forward to all of these horror games, but Hellraiser is perhaps our most anticipated as it’s definitely not shying away from the extreme brutality of the movies. It is coming to PS5, Xbox, and PC in 2026, but there’s no specific release date yet.
