Sony Computer Entertainment has announced that Heavy Rain: Chronicle 1 – The Taxidermist will be released on the PlayStation Store on April 1 priced £3.19.
Already available to those who purchased the Heavy Rain Collector’s Edition, The Taxidermist is a playable scene which provides additional backstory to Heavy Rain, and focusses on Madison Paige as she investigates a new lead.
The episode is an expansion and update of the original ‘Taxidermist’ demo shown at E3 and gamescom in 2008.
Sony also announced the release of a patch, which will hopefully fix the game issues being encountered by a “small percentage of players”.
