It’s unlikely further chapters in the Heavy Rain Chronicles DLC series will be released, Quantic Dream’s Guillame de Fondaumière has revealed.
The first DLC episode, The Taxidermist, is a playable scene which provides additional backstory to Heavy Rain, and focusses on Madison Paige as she investigates a new lead. The episode is an expansion and update of the original ‘Taxidermist’ demo shown at E3 and gamescom in 2008.
However, it would appear that this is the only extra chapter Heavy Rain fans are going to receive. Speaking to GameInformer at E3 last week, de Fondaumière said that work on further chapters has been put on hold and it’s unlikely the studio will return to them.
Once development of the PS Move version of Heavy Rain is complete, Qauntic Dream is likely to move onto its next project, passing by the previously announced Heavy Rain Chronicles DLC.
