Quantic Dream, developer of Heavy Rain and Beyond, has launched its official Twitter account only hours ahead of Sony’s E3 2015 conference.

It seems pretty unlikely that the timing of the launch is purely coincidental, with an announcement of some kind relating to the studio’s first PS4 title surely on the cards.

At E3 2013 Quantic Dream released a 12-minute video showing off its The Dark Sorcerer concept, but it’s unclear if the studio’s next game will be based on the “next-gen comedy”.

Nothing came of the studio’s 2012 demo “Kara”, which featured an android voiced by Valorie Curry.

Sony’s presser begins at 2am on Tuesday, and we’ll be bringing you all the action live in our special E3 live stream.

Putting a rumour to bed, the studio also used Twitter to confirm it is “not developing Shenmue 3. While we highly respect this franchise, we are working (hard) on our own Ips”.
